Born and raised in the Western District of Victoria, Michelle was just four years old when she moved from Horsham to the foothills of the Dandenong Rangers.
After completing her Accounting and Finance degree at Monash University, she worked as an accountant in Box Hill and then in Glen Iris. With the busy Melbourne traffic, Michelle found that she could stay with friends in Jan Juc and Barwon Heads and then head to work in Glen Iris in the morning, taking the same amount of time as it would if she was coming from her home in Melbourne.
As the years ticked over and the commute grew longer, Michelle was able to get herself an accounting position in Geelong and moved to coastal Barwon Heads – much less of a commute! More recently, Michelle has moved into a newly built house in Fyansford with her husband, son and stepdaughters.
Michelle is a registered Chartered Accountant with over 25 years of experience, working with a range of clients from individuals to small to medium businesses.
